Situated in the historic town of Montagnac near Pezenas, within easy reach of the airports of Montpelier, Beziers, Nimes and Carcassonne.
Spend lazy days in the sunshine by the pool, walk into the little town centre and buy a few provisions. Eat or have a drink at one of the 2 local brasseries, in the sleepy town square. Go to the local market on a Friday morning and buy wonderful fresh food.
Go to Pezenas on Saturday morning and visit the huge, colourful market,a great opportunity to buy gifts, clothing and food and enjoy the ambience. Pezenas also has many art galleries, craft shops and restaurants tucked away in it's picturesque side streets.
If you wish to dine out, there are numerous restaurants in the area, the ports of Meze, Marseillan, Bouzigues and Sete are all great places to eat, especially if you like seafood, and very pretty to wander around too.
However, the greatest pleasures are the simple ones, like wandering down the road in the morning to buy fresh croissants and bread from the boulangerie. Or lying on a sunbed and watching the red squirrels eating nuts in the trees. Or having a drink in the local bar and simply watching the world go by. Need I go on?
